SUMMER FYI (FUTURE YOU INITIATIVE)
Project Next is rolling out the red carpet for your student to join us for this Summers FYI (Future You Initiative): Pack Your Future: The Essentials for Adulting 101-a two-day summer extravaganza to prep teens for life beyond high school with a splash of fun and hands-on action.
From cracking the code of cash flow and goal-setting to perfecting self-care
Future routines and interview charm, this workshop will arm students with the real-world superpowers they need to conquer their next chapter. It's open to all soon-to-be
Workshop Highlights:
- Mastering money with a "Bite of Reality" simulation (hosted by CCCU)
- Growth mindset and goal-setting magic
- Life skills breakout rooms for communication, time management, and
- Crafting vision boards and career quests

COLLEGE CAMPUS TOURS
This summer, students have the chance to visit four incredible college campuses: MiraCosta TCI, UC Irvine, Cal State Long Beach, and Point Loma Nazarene University. Transportation is free-just bring your own lunch (except Mira Costa TCI), wear comfortable walking shoes, and get ready to explore what your future could look like! Don't miss out on this opportunity to see these schools up close. Spots are limited!
Buses will depart from San Marcos High School at 8:30 am for each visit.
June 20 - Mira Costa TCI
June 23 - UCI
June 24 - Cal State Long Beach
June 25 - Point Loma Nazarene University
*Open to ALL incoming 9th-12th graders and the class of 2025! No need to be from a Project Next partner school.
