I have been in the Financial Industry for 13 years. I currently work for U.S. Bank under Wealth Management. I graduated from the University of California San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. I have been fully licensed in Securities since 2016 and have the Accredited Wealth Management Advisor credential. I currently serve as the Ambassador Lead for U.S. Bank Proud to Serve Business Resource Group and I used to serve as the Treasurer for my Homeowner’s Association Board of Directors.
I believe Project Next is a very impactful organization and we need Future Centers to provide the youth with access to resources and be confident in their transition post High School. I was lucky to have guidance counselors at my high school that helped make sure I was taking the right courses and had enough credit. I joined the AVID program during my last 2 years of High School which provided me with access to college campus tours, financial aid, and assistance with submitting college applications.
I hope with my own personal experience and my background in Finance; I will be able to make an impact on these students and expand the vision of Project Next through my network and partners.
Passion for Joining the Team/Mission: I am excited to join this team because I believe in the transformative power of education and am dedicated to creating equitable opportunities for every student to thrive. I look forward to empowering students with knowledge and resources about financial aid and financial literacy, enabling them to achieve their goals and unlock their full potential without the hurdles of financial uncertainty.
