Jaely Cevallos

Jaely Cevallos is currently pursuing a degree in Computer Information Systems at California State University San Marcos while working remotely in technology operations and compliance for a cloud consulting company, Scale Capacity (a connection she made at a Project Next networking event where she spoke). She plans to graduate early and has intentionally focused her academic and professional journey on building a successful career in the technology industry.

As a Mission Hills High School and Project Next alumna, Jaely has remained actively involved with the organization through networking events, speaking engagements, and student advocacy efforts. She has shared her experiences with students and community members, helping demonstrate the impact that career exploration, mentorship, and professional connections can have on a young person's future.

Jaely credits Project Next with helping her navigate both college and career pathways, including connecting her to the internship that launched her professional experience in the technology field. Coming from a background where professional networks and career opportunities were not readily accessible, she understands firsthand the importance of creating pathways that help students build confidence, expand their horizons, and pursue their goals.

Jaely will bring a valuable student and alumni perspective to Project Next's leadership. She is passionate about ensuring that future generations of students have access to the same opportunities, guidance, and connections that helped shape her own journey, and she looks forward to helping strengthen the bridge between education, industry, and the community.
